Saji actually means ‘to serve’ or ‘to present’ in Indonesian - and this aligns with the restaurant's mission to serve intense flavours to their visitors.
Saji is the dream, and now reality, of two passionate Sumatran chefs, Samuel and Jimmy. For them, Saji is about bringing true Indonesian food culture to Copenhagen through the combination of experimental flavours from the Asian archipelago and the best Danish ingredients from every season.
