Kastrupgårdsamlingen

Experience modern graphics and contemporary art at the old country house Kastrupgård, whose past points back to Amager's history from the mid-18th century onwards.

Kastrupgårdsamlingen traslates to "The Kastrupgård Collection" and is a museum that presents 3-4 exhibitions a year, all focussing on 20th-century visual art. In addition to this, the museum also has a number of art collections that are part of the permanent repertoire - including a local history art collection and a collection of sculptures located around the museum.

Kastrupgård was built in 1753 by a stonemason from the Royal Court and was owned by private parties until the mid-1950s, when it was bought by Tårnby Kommune and is now a state-recognised museum.

If you're interested in modern art or are simply open to expanding your artistic horizons, you must visit Kastrupgårdsamlingen. The museum also has a cosy café where you can enjoy a snack or a refreshment when you're full of impressions.

Check the museum's own website and social media for information about current and upcoming events and exhibitions.
