Comé Rice Kitchen

If you've also been enviously watching many of the viral videos that have appeared online of Asian convenience stores, then you need to hurry down to Comé Rice Kitchen in Kødbyen!

In the Meatpacking District in Vesterbro, another strong player in the Copenhagen food game has opened. Comé Rice Kitchen has opened its doors to all the best Japanese comfort food you can think of.

Comé is Japanese for rice. Their mission is to introduce the charm of rice through a range of rice-based delicacies with a focus on onigiri (Japanese rice balls). Comé Rice Kitchen aims to awaken curiosity and passion for rice culture by offering carefully crafted onigiri and other rice-based dishes. They strive to create delicious dishes that bring out the essence of rice using high-quality rice and fresh ingredients combined with traditional culinary techniques.

At Comé Rice Kitchen, you can also enjoy karaage chicken, sashimi, and deep-fried appetisers.

The decor is a mix of Danish and Japanese, with the raw theme that runs throughout the Meatpacking District still playing a major role. There is limited seating, but you can always take your food with you as Comé is just a short walk from the harbour and several green areas in Vesterbro. Before and after your visit to Comé, you can take a trip to their store Ume, an Asian supermarket located both in Kødbyen and Amagerbrogade. Here you can find fresh produce, all your favourite noodles, sauces, spices and much, much more.
