Ambra
In the heart of Copenhagen, you'll find the Italian restaurant Ambra, where you can enjoy a simple pasta and a glass of red wine or go all in for a festive night.
In the impressive premises at Store Kongensgade 59 with 8 meters high ceilings, you will find the Italian restaurant Ambra. Andreas Bagh, former head chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant Machal at Hotel d'Angleterre, is in charge of the kitchen and it is he who ensures that Ambra's ambitions are being put into reality.
Ambra is inspired by the Italian restaurants you can find especially in New York, with the ambition to create a place that is well-designed and works for both everyday and festive occasions, with a selection of simple dishes at affordable prices.
The interior design therefore blends Scandinavian minimalism with a warm, Italian-inspired aesthetic to create a space that is both modern and comfortable. You can expect to find a generous menu of simple, classic Italian dishes such as Pasta Pomoro, Vitello Tonnato and freshly baked foccacia, while also being able to go all in and try some of the more extravagant dishes served with the chef's innovative chimeras.
Ambra is part of Sovino Brands, which already has well-known locations such as Café Viktor, Esmée and Goldfinch.
